Measure Angular Position with a Rotary Encoder Using National Instruments DAQ Hardware
You can use counters and timers to control your data acquisition in MATLAB®. Counter and timers in Data Acquisition Toolbox™ support EdgeCount, Frequency, PulseWidth, Position, and PulseGeneration measurement types. This demo uses the Position measurement type to measure angular position from a rotary encoder. Data is acquired with a National Instruments® USB-6255 DAQ device.
