External Torque Source (AB)

Ideal source of mechanical energy that generates torque proportional to the input signal

Since R2026a

  • External Torque Source (AB) block

Libraries:
Simscape / Foundation Library / Rotational / Sources

Description

The External Torque Source (AB) block represents an ideal external torque source that generates a specified torque regardless of the load or angular velocity at the connected port.

Port R is an angle-based rotational conserving port. Specify the torque at physical signal port S. A positive signal at port S applies a positive torque on the network at port R.
