Why do I receive an error about an invalid File Installation Key when installing MATLAB manually without the Internet?

When installing MATLAB manually without the Internet, I provided the File Installation Key provided by the MathWorks. When I enter the File Installation Key the installer tells me that it is invalid. How can I install my MATLAB manually without the Internet?

This error may occur if you are installing a MATLAB release that is newer than your File Installation Key. Check to make sure that the File Installation Key that you are using is the one that was generated recently. To obtain the latest File Installation Key, please see the following article:
