hi, presently i am doing project on stand alone PV systems with lead acid battery in simulink, i am facing problem in design of charge controller i.e to limit overcharging and over discharging of battery and also to provide battery back up in cloudy days.
please give me an idea to work on it.
thank you mounika.p

Hi,
Check out this model: https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/63791-voltage-control-dc-dc-bidirectional-converter
It is a DC DC voltage controlled bidirectional converter, or check this model which is current controlled bidirectional converter:
https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/63330-current-controller-dc-dc-bidirectional-converter
In either models, you can add a current rate limiter based on the maximum C-rate of your battery. Rate limiter is a block in the library

Hello, I am working on designing an optimal charger controller for EV batteries. My work will include SOC estimation and design of a non-linear optimal controller for HEV battery. Can you help me? Or do you think these papers that you suggested here will be good to look at? Thanks

This video discussed a BMS in which current limiter is implemented through a electrical circuit and control logic.
