Notification of edits in MATLAB Answers

Lately, I've noticed that when Edits are made, they cause the thread to rise to the top of my feed just like other updates like Comments and Answers would. Is it my imagination, or is this new behavior? I don't remember that happening before.
If it's new, I think I'd like to vote for bringing the old behavior back. Much of the time, the edits, I find, are not newsworthy. Conversely, also, I make a lot of trivial edits and would hate to think I'm cluttering peoples' feeds when I do.

Edits to questions have always caused the question to move back to the top of the list. What's new is that edits to answers and comments now have the same effect.
We're planning to make this behavior optional--by default edits won't cause the question to move back tot he top of the list, but you'll be able to check a box that says "this is a significant enough change that this should pop back to the top, and people following the question should be notified of the edit."
As for that "people following the question", stay tuned :-)

But the problem I see is that the edit is not a link so you don't know which of the responses by the person is the one that got edited.
And now that I've got your ear, I'd like to put in a request that if an editor clicks the orange minus sign to delete an attachment, that there should be a prompt asking if you really want to delete it. I'm sorry to admit that, 3 times now, I've meant to click on an attached file or image to see it, and missed and clicked the orange minus sign instead of the filename and it instantly blew away the attachment with no confirmation prompt whatsoever. And of course I could not add it back in again since I didn't have the file - it belonged to the other person.

Thanks, Randy. Combined with a check box (and a link to the Edit as proposed by Image Analyst), I agree this would be a good feature. Until the check box is ready, though, I wonder if it mightn't be a good idea to roll back to the previous behavior. Otherwise, feeds can get clogged, potentially, with insignificant updates.
Randy, do my suggestions seem reasonable and achievable?
