My Matlab is installed on a works' PC that is not permitted to connect to the internet. How do I install hardware support packages on a non-internet PC?
Thankyou

Step A - On an Internet-connected computer, do the following:
  1. Launch Support Package Installer
  2. Select "Download from Internet" and choose the support package
  3. On the next screen ("Select support package to download"), select the support package of interest. At the bottom of the screen, there is a "Download Folder" editbox. Make a note of this location or modify as necessary.
  4. Click next and complete the download.
  5. You will end up with a folder under the Download Folder. This will be named [something]_download (e.g., "sdrf_download", "lego_download") and it will have all the required files
  6. Copy the downloaded folder (e.g., "sdrf_download") to a USB key/removable media
Step B - Transfer the downloaded folder (e.g., "sdrf_download") to the non-Internet computer
Step C - On the non-Internet computer:
  1. Launch Support Package Installer
  2. Select "Install from Folder". Specify the location of the downloaded folder (i.e., the "sdrf_download" folder)
  3. On the next screen ("Select support package to install"), you should see the name of the support package
  4. Complete the installation

Hello Gautam,
Thank you for your response. My problem is that I don't have an internet machine with a Matlab license, hence I can't run Support Package Installer. I don't think you can install Support Package Installer as a standalone bit of software?
Any ideas?
Many Thanks,
Stuart

From my experience, the internet PC also has to have the relevant Toolboxes that use the particular support package you want to use. Fortunately I had a trial license I could access...
