I am trying to use the AM Costom Modeler Block in SIMULINK. When I open this, it asks me to give the location of the ASPEN PLUS DYNAMICS file. After I give its location, I get an error that reads, AMSIMULATION ERROR 263 NEW DOCUMENT COULD NOT BE CREATED. clicking ok brings up another error message that reads: ERROR Evaluating 'OpenFcn' callback of M-S-Function block 'sim_name/Aspen Modeler Block'. Sntax error:'sim_name/Aspen Modeler Block'.
I have made and run this model on my other computer with MATLAB and it does not have the problem. This problem occurs when i drop a fresh block and begin from scratch too, as against copying the simulation which runs onto this computer.
Where may the error lie? Is it a compatibility issue? I am using a 32 bit MATLAB with ASPEN v7.2?
