Hello!
I need to open a 3D image which is in .ima format. Until now I opened all the images with imread() function because they were on .jpg or .bmp.
Which function can I use to open and read it to a 3d matrix?
Thanks!!

dicomread has been reported to fail on ima files .
File Exchange dicomrename is intended to preprocess these files. More extensive preprocess is available from the contribution fir Siemens ima sort and nifti converter
