Hi Jan,
I don't want rename the file. I would like to move (motion: from one .fig access to next .fig). I think that is very clear.

Still not clear. Are you asking to close one and open the next one in sequence? If so then see the FAQ,
http://matlab.wikia.com/index.php?title=FAQ#How_can_I_process_a_sequence_of_files.3F
But perhaps you are asking how to change focus between one figure and another. If so then figure() can do that.
You might be asking, though, for tabbing order to extend between figures. I don't know if that is possible without using Java functions.

Yes you can create several .fig and open others from the one you are using, just write the name of the .fig or .m on your code, if you have a button just put the name of the other .fig or .m in the button callback, also look at the uiwait function, doc uiwait.

That depends if you're strong enough and can apply a load great enough to overcome the friction forces keeping it static.

But are they dried figs or fresh? Fresh might be easier to form regular line-ups (files), and probably have lower friction, but they probably don't support as much weight.

When the OP gets back to you with a further explanation of the question hopefully they'll allude to the fig hydration.
