Just do it. Do it yourself in MATLAB and see what the answer is. No need to ask us to do your exam for you - MATLAB will do it for you.
I mean, all you have to do is to paste these lines into an editor window:
a = [ 1, 2; 2, 3; 1, 2; 2, 3]
a( 2:3, 1:2)= 0
and you'll have your answer. Why make us do it for you when it is so trivially easy to do it yourself?
