adjusting label and title thickness of the plot function

plot(x);
xlabel('x coordinates')
ylabel('y coordinates')
title('title')
%I need to increase the size of x-y labels and title and make a little more bold.

Just use the 'fontsize' attribute of the axes:
set(gca,'fontsize',fontsize); % default fontsize is 10
