NI DAQ: use an external trigger signal to trigger the very first start of data acquisition, then data acquisition follows its own frequency

Hello, my system contains a camera, a NI DAQ 6343, and some thermocouples. I want to take images with the camera and read in thermocouple data simultaneously. However, the image taking frequency is 25Hz and the thermocouple sampling frequency should be 2Hz.
What I want is, when press the "start recording" button in the camera control software, the camera sends out a trigger signal to the NI DAQ 6343 to start data acquisition via channels connecting the thermocouples. But I only want the trigger signal to trigger the very first data acquisition action, then the thermocouple acquision follows its own frequency -- 2Hz.
Is this possible?
