MATLAB app unable to find or open specified path for toolbox

I am currently working on a MATLAB app that connects and communicates with an arduino. When I try and run the packaged, installed version I get the error below. If I run the code in App Designer without being packaged or installed it works fine and is able to connect to the arduino.
Unable to find or open 'C:\Users\Brad May\AppData\Roaming\MathWorks\MATLAB Add-Ons\Apps\ConditionedAvoidance - 1\ProgramData\MATLAB\SupportPackages\R2021a\toolbox\matlab\hardware\supportpackages\sharedarduino\+arduino
Check the path and filename permissions
