Using the Native ODBC Database Connection

When I try to connect to sql server using Native ODBC Database connection - We get the following error
conn= database.ODBCConnection('matsql','xxx','yyy') Undefined variable "database" or class "database.ODBCConnection"
When I try to connect thru Database Explorer - We get error
conn= database('matsql','xxx','yyy')
Invalid string or Buffer length

Kiran - do you have the Database Toolbox (see using native odbc connection)? In the Command Window type
ver
and observe your version of MATALB and all installed toolboxes.
If I try to run the same piece of code, I get the same error because I don't have this toolbox.
