Dear Matlab users,
How to solve the blurryness of Matlab 2014a GUI runing on a W8 and using Dell monitor with 2560x1440 reolution (see the difference bw Matlab window and Corome behind it in attached printscreen)?
I read the solution for Mac with Retina display (wish was refered to in answers of the question "Matlab R2014B blurry on high-dpi windows device" - similar to mine).
But HOW should I make it work in W8??? Thanks for help in advance!

This blurriness is due to the scaling done by the operating system. You can try disabling the scaling for MATLAB which might help you resolving the issue. To disable scaling for MATLAB, right-click on the MATLAB icon and select"Properties". Then, under the "Compatibility"tab, select "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings".
It is possible that the text in MATLAB may become too small when display scaling is disabled. In that case you can increase the font size used by MATLAB. To increase the font size in MATLAB, open MATLAB R2014a, select the Home tab on the Toolstrip in MATLAB window and choose “Preferences”. Under “Preferences”, select “MATLAB” and choose the desired font and size from the “Fonts” tab.
You can refer to the following threads which deal with similar issues:

There is a workaround now available in R2015a release of MATLAB that partially resolves the issues with blurriness and resizing of the MATLAB Desktop on Windows platform. The workaround patch can be downloaded from Bug Report ID 1054442.
