VR Instalation on MAC

I was following a tutorial from MATLAB Site and then I need to do following command in workspace:
"vr install - install editor"
and MATLAB replied:
"Editor will not be installed on this platform."
what does it mean? I believe that as I am using a MAC I don't need to install it. Is it correct?
