Root locus with two inputs?
Show older comments
Hello,
I have a simulink model with two inputs, and I'm trying to get the root locus plot of it. Is this possible?
Thank you.

Pl., post your simulink model, so we can provide an adequate guidance or an answer.

Hello Justin,
Certainly! To get a root locus plot from a Simulink model, follow these steps:
- Linearize your Simulink model to get its linear representation (usually a state-space model) using Simulink Control Design's ‘linearize’ function.
- Convert the linear model to a transfer function if necessary, using MATLAB's ‘ss2tf’ function for state-space models.
- Use the ‘rlocus’ function to generate and plot the root locus of the transfer function.
Please go through the following documentation to learn more,
Hope this helps.
