My demo will show you how to get things like regionprops measures, like area, perimeter, intensity, etc. What else do you need? What do they measure in the papers I referred you to? Or has no one ever done this before? If not, why do you need to do it?

My image segmentation tutorial is MATLAB code. That should at least get you started with the basics. Like I said, for anything more "foot-specific" you'll need to look up papers like I referred you to. Did you do that yet? And is your project just to implement existing algorithms someone else invented, or do you have to think up a totally brand new algorithm?

Well then add those tags and maybe someone will give you code like I did. My code helps you in #1 and #2.
