Compatibility of ADAMS and Simulink simscape hydraulic?

9 views (last 30 days)
Hello. I have been working on co-simulation with MATALB Simulink & ADAMS/View programs.
I wonder if the ADAMS program and the hydraulic parts provided by simulink simscape are compatible.
I want to use hydraulic models in Simscape, mechanical models in ADAMS, and control blocks in simulink.
Thank you.

Hello,
Is there any sample eaxample available where adams model is cosimulated with Simscape hydraulic circuit.
The Force from simscpae is applied to Adams and velocity/displacement from Adams is fed back to hydraulic circuit.

What you described isn't that different from how to couple Simscape Multibody with a hydraulic circuit in Simscape Fluids. Check out this example:
The force is applied to the multibody model and the velocity from multibody is applied to the hydraulic model. That's what the Translational Multibody Interface does; it's basically a velocity source and a force sensor.
You will need PS-Simulink and Simulink-PS converters to make the inputs and outputs Simulink signals.
