How i can implement a matlab function to find maximum likelihood estimate?

I admit to being fascinated as to the reason you are taking the maximum likelihood estimate of an electrocardiogram.

Hi,
MATLAB has a function "mle" which you can use to compute maximum likelihood.
For more information on the parameters for the function kindly refer the link : Maximum Likelihood extimates.
If you want to implement a custom MLE function, then you need to write the function scratch. You can take help from the above mentioned documents to get an idea.
