I am using MATLAB Grader for a course I am teaching, and some students submitted their code prematurely. Is there a way to remove their submission, so that they will be able to resubmit without adding extra submissions for the entire class?

There is currently no mechanism for granting an exception to a subset of students in a course.
If the problem has not yet been opened up to the rest of the class, a workaround could be to create a copy of the problem. Once copied, you can delete the original problem so there is no confusion. As a new problem, all submissions will be removed.
To copy, open the problem in Edit view and, in the top right select Actions > Copy

I'm afraid so. You could try contacting support. At the least, they can capture this as a feature request for Grader.
