MATLAB license renewal error

I am trying to renew my current MATLAB license which expired today. But when I press the 'Install MATLAB in your computer' button, the following message is displayed.

Trial Expired

This trial has expired. Contact us for more information.

As a result, I cant even download a new trial. Has anyone experienced something like that before?

It would appear you were using a trial license, which is not intended to provide you with perpetual access.

I suggest you contact support.

But over the last year, I was able as a university student to renew my license after 30 days without a single issue. Has anything changed in MathWorks policy that I miss? I tried to reach my local support center but my call was unanswered.

If you are a university student, perhaps you have access through your institution. If not, I would suggest submitting a support request using the link above.
