Find complex roots of homogeneous matrix equation

1 view (last 30 days)
Good afternoon,
I am trying to find the complex zeros of the matrix equation , in which Z is a complex 49x49 impedance matrix and is a complex frequency. The complex frequency is given at equidistant points, so it is no continuous variable.
Is there any MATLAB function or a suitable algorithm for finding the zeros?

Just loop over the discrete s until you find where det(Z) is sufficiently close to zero.
