I am getting HD-EEG on infants using the EGI HydroCel infant net. The issue is that it's actually 124 electrodes, not 128. Currently, I use the 128 template in Matlab and delete channels 125-128. Which is ok, except when I view it on the MRI, the location isn't accurate. Electrode 17 for instance, is in the middle of the forehead but it is too far down. On my babies 17 is in line with the other electrodes, it doesn't protrude down like a widow's peak. Would it be possible to get a more accurate template?
Thank you!
Sabrina

Hi Sabrina,
I understand that you’re trying to use the 128-electrode template for actual 124 electrodes by deleting the excess electrodes and it is causing inaccurate location of the electrodes on the MRI.
You can use the following steps to create a custom template for EGI HydroCel infant net with 124 electrodes:

I hope this helps!
