Why does it take long or stops when i use simscape electrical components instead of simscape electrical(power electronic) components to run a power electronics topology.

I was referring to the single phase grid connected inverter online and when it is constructed using power electronics components, the topology runs smooth and ends but when i use simscape electrical components it takes very long and cannot reach the end. The reason i use the simscape electrical components is because i want to use the thermal port block in the mosfet to perform thermal analysis, but even without the thermal block, it is still running very slow. May i know why or what is causing this in the topology or is there a way to solve this. 0 Comments

The way the gate driver is implemented doesn't look right. I believe because of that the model is a bit stiff and is very slow. Probably better to use the Half Bridge Driver block. Check the Analysis of Synchronous Buck Converter with Self Turn-On example for more insights about how to control the N-Channel MOSFET.
