Can I disable the colored border around code in the Live Editor?

1 view (last 30 days)
Hello,
I like to use screenshots of code snippets in reports. The MATLAB Live Editor places a colored background and a border around blocks of code. Is there a way to disable this? I'll take anything - community mods, new versions of MATLAB.

Currently there is no option to change the code block border colors and background color. In addition to using plain script as pointed out below, you could also consider exporting the live script into an HTML file (toolstrip: Export => Export to HTML) and tweak the styling there. For example, replace all border colors with something like transparent. This may be useful especially if you have many code blocks throughout the live script.

You could use a script instead of a live script.

Hi Cris,
Thanks for the help. I'll copy my code into scripts to use the white background. I'd really appreciate if the option were available directly for the live editor (if possible, could you put in a request for that?)
Thanks a bunch!
