请问matlab如何读取excel数据并求平均值？

请问我现在有一个“abc.xls”文件，里面是三列数据，请问如何用matlab进行文件数据的导入，并将这三列数据，每列的24个数求一个平均值，并生成一个数据文件。就假设一列有48个数，就求出两个平均值，然后进行三列这样的操作。求助！
