Measure the stator phase voltage of induction motor

13 views (last 30 days)
I want to measure the stator phase voltage of induction motor——i.e.,the voltage between phase terminal and common point of stator winding. It's easy to do this when the motor is healthy since it equals to supply voltage, but when the windings are asymmetric, like ITSC fault occuring to the motor, the relation fails. I wonder is there stator phase volatge measuring block in Simulink to measure stator phase volatge in self built ITSC fault induction machine model?

Hello Raymond,
the simscape induction motors have both sides of the winding exposed (so you can control if they are connected wye, delta, etc.) which means that in simulation, you can directly measure the phase voltage of each phase directly and seperately. https://www.mathworks.com/help/physmod/sps/asynchronous.html?s_tid=CRUX_lftnav
If you have made the model yourself, then you should already have direct access to the phase voltages on the stator.
Regards,
Joel
