Mouse stops working in undocked editor since last patch

Ever since the patch from Bug Report ID 1184018 , I have been having troubles with my mouse. When I undock the editor from the main window, the mouse stops working after maybe 15 min. I can still move around, but clicking has no effect whatsoever, not even the button for "redocking" responds. I don't know if it is actually linked to the patch, but it's the only reason I can think of. Has anyone had similar issues?

I am using a Lenovo T440p. This happens both with an external mouse and the inbuilt trackpad. I have never had any issues with the mouse in any other software (apart from the fact that the T440p has the worst trackpad on the planet).
