For MATLAB R2022a Update 1, the update will only be available by installing MATLAB through the MathWorks Product Installer or through the ISO image using the offline workflow. The offline package for manual updates and the in-product installer/notifications from within MATLAB have been disabled for this update.
If you already have MATLAB R2022a installed and would like to update to R2022a Update 1, you will need to uninstall and reinstall MATLAB R2022a. This is expected to be fixed by the release of MATLAB R2022a Update 2.
