I am trying to convert an average Raman spectrum to a barcode. I have database and .csv files. Is this possible?

Hi Laura
I understand that you want to convert a Raman spectrogram to a barcode.
The spectrogram of each molecule is unique in terms of the wavenumber associated with various bands. Take this image as an example.

You can use the “barcode128gen” function from MATLAB file exchange link:
The input argument for the function is a number/string. You can use the wavenumbers associated with the bands as an input. For example: 1324D1599G can be a unique string representing the Raman spectrum of Graphite.
Hope this helps!

Note that you have to be careful about which barcode you select: many (but not all) of them have length limitations. For example QR code at maximum density handles less than 8000 symbols.
