How can I get if some functions are intercepted? having the equation of the line

i need to know only if the functions are intercepted, i dont wanna know the point. Something like if the functions really are intercepted increment a counter. this includes vertical lines.

But, i need to know how many "walls" are crossed. can i do that with improfile?

If you get intersection point then they intersect. If intersection point is empty, they don't intersect.

Versions of the function are available back to r2008b. However you have to install it. Search for it using Add-on Explorer
