I resumed work with my program after about a 30 minute break. I was in the middle of a series test-analyze-fix loops. The command window was basically filled with error messages and function history every time it stopped.
Abruptly, and without obvious warning, Matlab shutdown and I lost work. This is the 2nd or 3rd time this has happened. I have also seen the license warning countdown and it's easy to deal with that.
I need to be on the company VPN to access the license server and it disconnects only sometimes. Sometimes it stays up 24 hours, sometimes shutsdown after 30 min idle.
Maybe there were warnings about the license, but if so, they had scrolled off the screen.
I lose work every time this happens. It seems very rude for Mathworks to not handle this perfectly normal workflow gracefully.
