Matlab 2020a doesn't find complier when it did with 2017a

I had Matlab 2017a and was using Windows SDK 7.1 as the compiler for mex to use loadlibrary. I have updated to 2020a and was attempting to use mex and I get the error now that says No supported complier found. Has anyone else seen this? What is a supported compiler for 2020a? I was not planning to use MinGW.

According to the Supported Compilers column entry for release R2020a on the Previous Releases system requirements page Windows SDK 7.1 is not listed. It was listed in the R2017a list of supported compilers, but it was listed as not supported as of release R2017b.

Wow. That is right. Support for Win SDK looks to have been removed. Do you know if under "Microsoft Visual C++ 2022 product family" this inlcude MS Visual Studio Code or MS Visual Studio Community versions?

Community is included. Historically mostly Professional versions were supported and that was explicitly documented. When Community and Express and whatever all started being supported, the documentation started using the phrase "product family"
