I am looking to modify or create the mesh, nodes, and stress values generated in the pde toolbox.
Specifically i would like to be able to import a mesh ( nodes, id, position, element, etc) into the PDE toolbox, i would also like to be able to import the associated results into matlab for plotting, post processing and other uses assocated with the PDE Toolbox.
Has anyone had any experience doing this.
I have attempted to directly write the FEMesh with the associated properties (trouble shooting this method currently) in a similar formate for which the PDE solver generates its modesl for use in pdeplot3D, I have also attempted to modify an exisiting model, however the mesh property is unable to be over written.

You check the variables you have got. They will be structures, from here you can extract what you want.

Im not looking to extract from the variable, that is no problem. I am looking to define (or overide) mesh properties manually in the PDEmodel.
I found that you can at least plot externally refrenced results using the code in this order pdeplot3D(model.Mesh.Nodes,model.Mesh.Elements,'ColorMapData',model.Results.Stress.sxx)
However it does not appear that you can modify a built in PDE model or write a PDE model, i keep getting errors when i attempt to write to the mesh assignment.
