how to find minimum between two numbers or variables. like p= min {(k'-1), int(dmax/d)} where dmax ,d, k' are variable

p = min(k-1,fix(dmax/d))

Did you look up min() in the help? Did you try something like
p = min([kPrime-1, int32(dmax/d)])
