Error during installation: shared_optimlib does not exist

4 views (last 30 days)
I'm installing (re-installing/updating) Matlab R2021a on a system running Xubuntu 22.04, along with the Global Optimization Toolbox, the Optimization Toolbox, and the Parallel Computing Toolbox. After the installer finishes downloading everything, I get this error message:
I've checked, and this file does not actually exist (the directory does, along with a lot of other files). The links provided don't work (ever, but that's another issue), so I'm at a bit of a loss.

Contacted tech support. What ultimately worked was downloading the toolboxes without installing, and then running the install file that was generated.
