Newer license manager with old Matlab client

Hi,

Our users are working with an old Matlab version R2015a, they are happy with this version and don't want to update. The license manager is running on an old Windows server. So we are installing a new license server. Can we install the license manager of R2022b? Is this compatiable with our old client version?

Hi Pieter,

It is my understanding that your user is working on R2015a and wants to know whether R2022b license is compatible for it or not. It is highly recommended to use the latest version of MATLAB as it has bug fixes, performance optimization and new features. However, the license of R2022b is compatible for working in R2015a.
