Calculate self aligning torque using Simulink

7 views (last 30 days)
Hello Eveyone,
I'm using Vehicle Dynamics Blockset example model which called as Double lane Change Reference application and implementing it into HILS. A Steering Wheel reruires Force Feed Back but this model seems to not calicurate self aligning torque. Does anyone know how to calculate self aligning torque for force feedback?

hi,
'Combined Slip Wheel 2DOF' block outputs Mz — Aligning moment.
you can use the signal as self aligning torque.
I believe you know that to get the torque on the steering wheel, you need to divide that value by the reduction ratio between the tire and the steering wheel.
thank you
