Set position of image in matlab code PDF

4 views (last 30 days)
Hello,
I am very happy with using matlab, I use it for solving exercises which I then convert to PDF for easy access. However, when i use the command imshow("picture.jpg") a specific place in the Matlab code, the PDF always place it at the bottom of the section instead of where the code is written. Is there a way to set the position of an image in a PDF doc?
Thank you.

For example, when I review my PDF i would like my image to show up at the same position in the text/code as where i placed it, but right now it shows up in the bottom of all my text/code, meaning i have to go down to see the image and then back to the part of the text where it is relevant.
%% Exercise 2
% in a wye-wye connection, find the line currents, line voltages and
% the load voltages
clear all
close all
clc
imshow("lecture6_ex2.jpg")
%Because it is a 3-phase balanced circuit, we can simply make the
%calculations based on a single phase and then recover to 3-phase by using
%the phase relationship.
%The load voltages (in this case the same as phase voltages, because the
% total load of the single phase is included from point A to point N and
% the same for the rest)
V_AN=220*exp(j*deg2rad(0)); %V
V_BN=220*exp(j*deg2rad(-120)); %V
V_CN=220*exp(j*deg2rad(120)); %V

This can be achieved using %%, e.g.:
% Image is shown here after the command imshow()
imshow("MY_image.jpg")
%% Simulation results
A = magic(3);
B=A.^3
fprintf('Time: %13c \n', now)
