I want to use the generic battery model, in particular using the equation of the discharge model for the lithium-ion battery type. There are some parameter that I did not understand:
  • i* is the low-frequency current dynamics, in A. What is it?
  • i is the battery current, in A. In the case of a pulsed discahrge, during the relaxation time, I could consider i = 0 ?
  • it is the extracted capacity, in Ah. Is this parameter the multiplication of current and time?

i* is i passed through a low pass filter.
i is the instantaneous battery current, so it will be 0 whenever you are not charging or dischargin the battery.
it is the capacity. It is not current and time multiplied, but it has the same units.
However, these are not paramters that you enter into the mask, they are calculated from the paramters that you provide.
