Need Support with Pleora CLU3 frame grabber

1 view (last 30 days)
Hi I have a Quantum Imaging camera which uses Pleora Frame Grabber. I am trying connect using Matlab Image Acquisition toolbox. Currently Image Acquisition Toolbox is not recognizing the camera or the Frame Grabber. Is there any support for this or could you guide me to what is the way to use the Image acquistion toolbox to communicate with Frame Grabber. Thanks

I would experiment with installing these support packages:
  • USB Video
  • Native Video
  • IP Camera
If you have Windows and are using a CameraLink interface, then if I read correctly support for those interface should be built in to the Image Acquisition Toolbox.

Hi Anis,
I understand that your Quantum Imaging camera with Pleora Frame Grabber is not recognized by the Image Acquisition Toolbox, here are some steps you can take:
  • Check for Pleora Frame Grabber support
  • To use a Pleora Frame Grabber with the Image Acquisition Toolbox, you may need to install the Pleora SDK (Software Development Kit) on your system.
  • Ensure that you have the latest version of the Image Acquisition Toolbox installed in MATLAB
  • Check for custom support packages
I hope this solves your query.

Hi Rijuta,
Can you clarify what you mean by " Check or custom support packages". Also what is required for Image Acquistion Toolbox to communicate with Pleaora. The SDK part is understandable, the pleora is GenI cam supportable so could you tell me what is missing here. Thanks
