How to operate Front-End Inverter to control variable PMSG output

Hello, I'm doing my research on "Regulation of Electric Power for a Unique Hydrokinetic Energy System." In this preoject, instead of chopper circuit, I'm going to use a "front-end inverter" in order to regulate the output of permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) in terms of voltage and frequency in the SIMULINK environment. Could anyone please share or provide me any SIMULINK model or link for a front-end inverter with explanation of its operation if already it is available? Thanks in advance.

This is not exactly what you are looking for, but it is a good starting point. This is for a grid connected inverter: https://www.mathworks.com/help/sps/ug/grid-tied-inverter.html
You can also fine free trianing here:
I recommend Simulink, Simscape, circuits, and power electronics.
