ESP 300 controller program not working

I am trying to data logging using a rs 232 to usb cable. I am trying to log the data at chosen frequency range but I dont see any data being recorded.

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can take to try and resolve the issue:
1.Check the connection: Make sure the RS 232 to USB cable is properly connected to both the device and the computer.
2.Check the port: Ensure that you have selected the correct port in your data logging software. You can check this by going to the device manager on your computer and looking for the RS 232 to USB cable under "Ports (COM & LPT)".
3.Verify the baud rate: Make sure that the baud rate settings (speed at which data is transferred) in your data logging software match with the ones set in your device.
4.Test with another software: Try using another data logging software to see if the issue lies with the software being used.
5.Check the device manual: Check the manual for your device and ensure that you have set it up correctly and understand the data output format.
6.Verify frequency range: Check that the frequency range you have specified is supported by your device and is within the range of the data that can be collected.
