How to observe the acceleration profile of a pneumatic (cylinder) system?

1 view (last 30 days)
Hello everyone,
The objective I want is to reducing the vibration in the pneumatic system. As the acceleration profile of the pneumatic system is mostly the step function which will cause the pneumatic system to have instantly acceleration and instantly stop, which might caused the vibration.
There is the possible solution which is to implement the throttle valve in the system so that to prevent the instantly acceleration and instantly stop, instead the system will accelerate slowly and stop slowly.
Is that we are possible to construct the pneumatic system in the simulink, which to show that the step function (acceleration profile) of the pneunatic system becoming the sinusoidal function, (reducing the vibration perhaps)?
(The figure looks something like this)

Mechanical sensors can be used to measure acceleration - Link.
