Matlab r2017b wont run on Sonoma

I need to use R2017b because of compatibility issues with newer versions. It ran perfectly well on Ventura is there a fix for this?

Thanks for all the comments I guess I have to bite (byte!) the bullet and try and make some of my ancient C code work with the newer verions.

I have now tried two other versions of Matlab on Mac Sonoma 14.2.1. R2022A does work but it is extremely slow. The GUI takes 10s or longer to respond - so basically it is unusable. It would be very useful to know why that happens as R2017a worked perfectly on Ventura on exactly the same computer a MacBook Air M2 2022 with 16Gb memory. I have also tried R2023b. I had to use the converter to change the FIG file to the new format. Although this works- OK- some of my custom GUI elements don’t work properly. I have a custom progress bar that doesn't work. Ideally I would like to work with the R2022A version using the original FIG file but only if I can get it to work properly. Any help on this I would really appreciate.

Sorry, no it is not compatible. Even the command line version will not work.
