Simulink’s time legend has too few color types

11 views (last 30 days)
When the number of discrete sampling times exceeds 3, the colors of the time legend will repeat. R2023a can display more colors, but R2023b can only display 3 colors.
The model has more than three discrete rates, larger than the available discrete sample time colors. The third and slower rate has been marked with the same sample time color.

Is there a way to change back to the previous legend?

I've just encountered this issue on R2023B Update 9 - this is extra annoying

Yes, this is really bad. I've been working with sample basic models with 5 rates plus constants (inf rate) since 2015b and never had this problem until 2023 version (I skipped over 2022 versions so I don't know when this first showed up. But it is seriously impacting our ability to review these models.

Hi YuanKai,
I am facing the same issue in pre-release version of MATLAB R2024a. I think this might be a bug. You can report the bug here https://www.mathworks.com/support/contact_us.html?s_tid=bug2create
Hopefully Mathworks team will resolve it.
