I have questions about the current output of the full electric vehicle model built by simulink.

I tried to build a full electric vehicle model according to the following official routine:Build Full Electric Vehicle Model - MATLAB & Simulink - MathWorks 中国,I looked at the performance after running the example and had the following questions:
1, Why is the battery voltage positive during acceleration in automotive conditions?
2,The battery should always be discharged in operation, but according to the picture there is a charging state and took up a large part of the test,Why does this happen?

Hi @斯博
Here is my little opinions about your questions:
1) The voltage of the battery is always positive normally either charging or discharging.
2) The battery of current in reverse direction shows that the battery is charging due to the regeneration of the EV car. When the car is braked or inaccerelation, the induction motor will charge the car battery. Is applied on electrical train as well.
Please note that, this opinions is based on my experience in EV car and battery, might be wrong. Hopefully is helping you to seek for better answers. Thank you and good luck.
