Verilog RTL Verification by Simulink without FPGA Board. Possible?

Hi all,
Seeking for you advise if I want to use simulink to do UVM for RTL Verilog verification.
I have seen this from Matlab website.
Seem like to do this verification, I require FPGA Circuit Board.
Would it be possible I do it without FPGA Board, just load my code adn do the verification through Simulink.
Thanks

Hi Kyle,
You can use Simulink for RTL Verilog verification without an FPGA board by leveraging co-simulation techniques. Options include:
  • Use HDL Verifier to simulate RTL code in Simulink without needing an FPGA.
  • Co-simulate using tools like ModelSim or QuestaSim alongside Simulink.
  • Generate testbenches with HDL Coder and create test scenarios with Simulink Test.
For UVM-based verification, typically use a SystemVerilog environment and an HDL simulator, while still using MATLAB/Simulink for test vector generation and analysis.
