How to correctly model a moist hydrogen gas to air cooled heat exchanger in simulink?

8 views (last 30 days)
I am modelling a air cooled hydrogen chiller for my project. But simulink doesnt have a block for gas to moist air. So i tried a gas- gas heat exchanger with ma-g interface blocks.with hydrogen and water vapor in moist air.
Or should I use gas-gas heat exchanger ? I dont know the mixture properties of hydrogen with water vapor.

Thanks for the response.
Yes, I am using the moist air system to model the moist hydrogen gas system. But I am not able to interface it correctly with dry air cooled heat exchanger.

Hello Prithviraj ,
I am attaching a link of the Simulink examples for using Mosit Air Systems which will give you a template to get started with Simulink Moist Air system modelling.
Please refer to the link for finding the examples: Moist Air Models — Examples.
Also here is a video from regarding Heat Exchangers in MATLAB which give you an overview about the systems: Heat Exchanger

Thanks for the response.
I am able to build a gas network and moist air network seperately. But my target here is to build a heat exchanger model with gas-moist air model as a single unit. ie moist hydrogen as heat source and dry air as cooling medium.
